As Chris Rock would say......" that's right "...
A couple reasons for this decision.....
1)...The easiest funds transfer for US players since Neteller....I just
re-opened my PokerStars acct and did a e check transfer and began
playing in 5 minutes......how cool is that ???
2) Success......when I was laid off at Conseco Finance in 2005...we
were in the middle of the Greg Raymer online poker boom....and I bought
into it 100%.....thought with no job...I just play online poker all day...I
read as many books on online poker from all the key guys at the time and
bought poker teaching software, watched all the TV poker shows and bought a very good online odds calculator..
...and I had success......at the lower levels of LIMIT hold'em...1$/2$...
I made a good profit .....I got in trouble when I went No Limit....guys
were just better than me...at the time....
Oh, you get your Bad Beats....just like sports....
whats the difference .....losing a game by a half-point or
losing a hand on the river...?
No difference...really....
I then, concentrated at Sit & Go and was overall successful.....
But then with the advent of UIEGA coming on...I lost interest and
just stuck with sports...which I felt I was better at....
But now....without Neteller and UIEGA still making it hard to fund
at online sportsbooks.........and as I just discovered ....the FANTASTIC
ease to deposit and withdraw thru PokerStars by e check....its
a no brainer......
Sure playing Poker for so many hours online can be boring ( I only
play 1 game at a time)...but if I play my game consistently....I
will make a profit.....
Time to bring the Phil Hellmuth and Eastman how to books out and brush up...
I am getting excited....
...oh btw......you really hear more about Professional Poker Players...than
you do about Professional Sports Betting Players......wonder why?
Oh...I will continue to do the sports....but will wait till I get to Vegas to really
pull the trigger.....
Would love to hear your comments.....
