    Are The Celtics Tired?
I think teams starting to catch up to them, they are still good but coming back down to earth.

Do you realize they were outscored 25-6 in the last six minutes at home against the Wizards? They better get on track because without home court advantage throughout, you can stick a fork in them, imho.

So, you guys are discounting the first 30+ games of the season because of a three game skid?

Much more likely, IMO, that this is one of those "Dog Days of January" swoons that teams have in the NBA. If GPA are as good as I think they are, the Celts will be there in the Eastern Conference finals against the Pistons.

I said without home court advantage throughout, you can stick a fork in them.

I was talking about them winning the championship. They aren't beating San Antonio or Phoenix without home court, imho. Everything else is very possible, of course.

If we've learned nothing over the years, the one thing we should have learned is that it's a LONG season in the NBA and what teams look like in January are often very different from what they look like and play like in the playoffs.

It is wayyyy to premature to decide in January what the Celts may or may not be at home or on the road in the playoffs that are 3-4 months off.

All I'm saying is that it's essential for them for them to get home court advantage throughout. If they get it, they're the favorites to win it all, imho. Without it, they may be in trouble. That's all.

Its been almost half the season and teams have plenty of film on them now. I think they will still be the number one seed, but they are going to look a little more mortal, especially if one of the big three goes down.
