Bankroll from when you started to what your at NOW!
I was just curious since I am trying to be as disciplined as possible right now as far as wagers are considered. So what did you guys actually start with and what have you built it up to this day. For instance what were your wagers before and now...i just want peoples responses of building nothing into something being disciplined from the beginning, because at this point i feel like just popping the whole bankroll for a big hit, im sure everyone has had this temptation but please convince me not to!

You'll probably get a lot of varied responses here. A friend of mine uses a system where he puts $100 from his pay into his sportsbook each week to up his unit price and therefore get better profits from it. Where others start with a certain sum and see where that ends them up.

      First post BTW!

Yeah I am curious about this as well. Another thing I might ask, is how do you manage your bankroll? Wait never I have an idea.....

I'm sort of a mixture of the 2. I have a goal for the month that I would like to hit. A very basic example...

            Start of Month: $1k.
            End of Month Goal: $1,100
            Actual End of Month: $1,042

I then top it up to the goal amount so I'd be putting in $58 at the end of the month. I put away X from my pay monthly and some months I have to put the whole lot in, others I only have to put a little in to get to my goal because it's been a profitable month.

It's a simple system and it works for me. I wouldn't mind seeing how others do it.

I started last April with 2K from my poker accounts which I moved into 2 sportsbooks before I lost neteller. My sportsbook roll is now about 16K. I never made a withdrawal last year. That also includes 5K I won in a sportsbook contest. My goal is to have 30K by the end of this year.

My bet sizing started off at $50 when I had 2K. I have made 1K bets here and there but generally I don't bet more than $500 a game max.

                Hope this helps.

I started with 100€ (150$), thought will stop if i loose it all, which i did, but the bigger part on blackjack and two big bets on very low lines (Olimpija beating Olimpiakos and CSK if you follow Euroleague basketball)

Then i lost another 100€ (One Spurs game, England not being able to beat Croatia in soccer)

Then another 100€ on i dont know what so i was down 300€ or about 450$, which is not a small number to me.

Joining Expect and collecting their 70€ bonus turned it all around. I couldnt miss for about 10 bets there, including 45€ on a 3,55 ML. Then lost some but was still doing good. Then something happened with the book (that was the time i found out about SBR), i thought i was gonna loose it all so i said i need to make 100€ to save the money or screw it all. I chose Euroleague basket since i know it best and is imho easier to predict than NBA.

I bet 100€ on Žalgiris, guest at Prokom, 1,5 ML. They were loosing by 12 soon and i was pissed.. Quickly i bet another 100€ on Panathinaikos (-13,5 handicap) at Bamberg. Žalgiris turned it around and won.. Panathinaikos won by 14.

BUT.. flashscore immediately after Panatinaikos game showed a result of +12. So did my book and i thought i lost. I was pissed again so i looked for a NBA game handicap, I chose Indiana with -7 against i dont know who and wanted to put 100€ on it. But before i pressed 'Accept' i looked at the lost Panatinaikos game and couldnt believe that the score has changed to +14. Also on flashscore and official Euroleague page, couldnt believe it. I guess there was a doubtful last second basket or something. Indiana won, by the way, i wish i did press Accept

Anyway, im at total of +40€ at the moment (i track every cent) and i play a lot more careful now, the stakes are low and i set a brick wall, im not going under 0 total again.

Last bets i made last night came from reading these and similar forums, I bet on Sacramento +6, Under for San Antonio game, Denver, Utah ML. Made 5€

I always liked the idea of handicapping, and i guess i will stick with it, but i bet other things also.

                  Dam, this became an essay

I made a 4 figure deposit in August for NFL/NBA seasons. Right now Im up 35%, mostly due to NBA wagers 65-45-2. I always wager the same thing $100 a game.Im holding out for getting 50% up, then going to pull out the 50% profits.

There is no future in wagering the whole roll at once, you may win a time or two, but sooner or later your gonna end up bust. JMO

Whatever you do, don't put the majority of it on just one game. I had a good winning record in the college bowls going into New years. I like those plays even more. I double all my bets. Lost the majority of my New Years games plus went 0-5 in the BCS. I pissed away all of my profits. I knew better and did it anyway. I usually play the same amount on all of the games but got a little greedy with the games I liked more. I'll have to go back and bet the same unit on every game like I did before.

I just started this a couple of months ago, so I started with a low bank of $200 until I can get some kind of system together that I'm comfortable with. I'm cashing out back to $200 at the end of each month. I cashed out $94 last month and my bank is at $435 halfway through this month.

No I started with 3k in August, if I had 1k, my wagers would be $25-30 a pop. It takes time to build up your roll, you just have to have some decent winning streaks to get anywhere.

I do this for fun, Im no pro nor do I want to be, theres plenty of pros here who you can get better advice from.

I post my wagers daily in Illusions NBA Best Bets, right now im 7-1 since Thursday, feel free to check out my picks.

I do this for fun, Im no pro nor do I want to be, theres plenty of pros here who you can get better advice from.

ya i know, i ask you cuz i usual notice you bet 1 or 2 games just like me instead of betting 4 plus like most do on here, and have noticed your success as well, i myself have been doing really well lately, i felt really sure of that wizards game last nite was gonna pop it all so i can be well rolled to make 100 wagers but pussied it up at the very end and made my usual wager

I started with money borrowed from my friend. I keep my balance around 400 Euro and every cent above it I withdraw and buy something. I don't keep exact numbers, but I bought a lot of things
, vacancies, etc. from Poker and Sportsbook money. I lost all the money several times, but if that happens I start playing freerolls. I never deposit my money anymore.
