I have degree in communications, with a concentration in print journalism. I have been a sports writer for many years now. If your writing here is any sample of your "skills," I wouldn't quit that $9/hour gig just yet.

To his defense, he said he is studying for journalism. I am looking forward to see the grades at the end of the year. I keep my fingers crossed that the time off from SBR forum will enlighten him.

I hope he understands that he'll have to write about something other than the Cowboys and at times be unbiased. Lots of luck with that!

$100 = 1 unit buddy
If this is the case, instead of journalism, he needs to take money management classes. That's way too much money per unit for a $9 hour job. If he worked 40 hours/week (which I highly doubt because he spends all of his time posting on different boards) that would be $360 week not including taxes or the money he spends on toys and video games. Each unit is like almost 14% of what he makes each week at best unless mommy is kicking in a nice allowance.
