I say yes. They will get swept by the Rockies, their starting pitchin is rough and with Codero still closing, well...

I'll bet anything that the Reds still win the Central. They are beating the teams they should beat, but aren't beating the teams they need to beat right now. After Colorado, they only have San Diego for 3 games as far as a team with an above .500 record. They have 3 with Pittsburgh, 4 with Arizona, 6 with Houston, and 6 with Milwaukee as far as below .500. They will have no problem winning series against those teams. The pitching has been decent, but nothing special. Cueto pitched well enough last night, but the bats did not do enough. Phillips is a gold glover and cost them the game with an error last night. His first error in 60+ games. Arroyo has had solid season to go along with Cueto, so he should get the Reds back on the positive side tonight.

As far as Cordero goes, what's wrong with him? Yes he has blown 6 saves on the season while he hit a bad rut during mid season, but since then has been very solid. He has saved 11 straight since blowing the last game on July 9th. On a run of 22.2 innings and allowing 5 runs since then. His issue during the season was walks and after a session with the pitching coach they straightened his issue for the time being. During his last 9 innings he has issues 0 walks and allowed 6 hits.

Almost too big of a lead now to blow it. St. Louis is playing terrible. No one is scary in all of baseball besides maybe the Yanks. Reds have a legitimate chance to win the whole thing.

Codero will have a melt down when we need him.

Who is their ACE? No one. The only one I would think about putting in, in game one of a playoff would be Arroy, but hell, he is so unpredictable it is scary. Yea, his last 7 games he has like a 3.3 ERA, he is due to get lit, he does this often.

Woods arm is getting tired, Harrang, HA, Harrang. Homer, well, hes Homer.

They've had a good run, hope it continues, but dunno.

Also, these shit teams seem to start playing better in the end. Pitt/Houston could take a series from the Red's

Reds won't fall apart enough to not make the playoffs. Dusty is playing really conservative, I think too much.
