    Strange how the NE part of the country are not nearly as much into COLLEGE FOOTBALL
    They are much more into the NFL.............and many ignore CFB, which is just unbelievable.

    Take SBR's own JJGOLD.........he is a bigger fan of TENNIS and the NBA than he is college football.

      From my experience and not counting this year
      Have you seen Temple football
      Have you seen where Temple's campus is
      And Villanova dropped there program only to return as div2 or 1aa or whatever it is and nothing beat Nova tailgates for rich young drunk hot chicas when they where a real program

        I have a good friend who is a fan of the OWL..............lol

        From what I've been able to detect, most Philly residents are fans of Penn State more than anything.

          1)Eagles
          2)Eagles
          3)Phillies
          4)Eagles offseason
          5)Villanova,St Joe's,Temple,Drexel,U of P Basketball
          6)Flyers
          7)Penn state or Notre Dame Football...depending on where you went to church/High school
          8)Eagles
          9)Any new made up ESPN 2 sport/Arena sports( box Lax,Arena football,Box soccer)
          10)76'ers unless the Phillies have sent a great prospect to Reading

            Sounds about right. I especially like #9...it's crazy how people will root for anything.

                Just think of all the great potential football players in the NE that play hockey instead of football..............in Iowa for example, NOBODY plays hockey seriously.

                    That's not true, but there is some truth in it, new England is extremely small and on top of that they don't have the rich history of college football I mean seriously there best college team is uconn or bc and neither have a rich heritage

                        How many NFL teams do you know that are located in a city less than 500,000 people? Most americans live in the country and not in the big cities. NE has many big cities and the colleges don't have football teams or are lower divisions.

                          yaaa im from NE and i don't care for college football much(trying to get more into it). I love the NFL more than i love most of my family members but college football just is mehhh ill keep watching it though.
