Panthers +7 ... What did the Giants do to prove they are worthy of being a 7 point favorite? They will have issues with Carolina's running game all day.
Steelers -1.5 ... Yea, I know Roethlisberger isn't playing but Pittsburgh played pretty damn well with Dixon last year against the Ravens. It's the home opener and there's just way too many people on Atlanta.
Lions +7 ... Detroit has some weapons and will be better this year. I think Stafford breaks out and Best was a great draft pick. Chicago might very well be looking ahead to Dallas and Green Bay. Also like the over in this one but that's just a gut feeling.
Texans ML (+110) ... The Texans are the real deal and I don't think the Colts will be as good this year. I think the AFC South will be a lot closer than past years and that Houston could really challenge Indy for that title.
I also kind of like Baltimore (+1.5) and New England (-4). Any thoughts on these early opinions? We still have a few days to think about these games but thoughts on these picks and other games are appreciated.
