I'm not going to bring up their names because I'm in a hurry and am not going to Google for them now but the Minnesota Wild hockey team was sold yesterday to the husband of the woman who's great grandfather founded Johnson household products.I think the guy owned the Nashville Predators before this purchase and sold them and wanted back in by buying a new team.
So here is the kicker that pisses me off.First off,the guy falls ass backwards into a shit load of money by marrying the Oh Henry candy bar heiress,then he buys an expansion team in Nashville where the tax payer built him an arena,the team appreciates greatly because of the new arena,he sells the team at a big profit,then moves on to a very lucrative team in Minnesota where the tax payer subsidised that arena.
And the idiot sap fans that fork over $100 a ticket think the players are playing for them and they worry if the team loses.
If it weren't for betting,would any half sain person give a rats ass care who wins a game in any sport?
Maybe instead of the term and tv show by that name,flip this house,they should do a show called flip this arena or stadium!
We here could all own pro sports teams if we apply ourselves,put our nose to the grindstone,work really,really hard,save your pennies and pull yourselves up by the boot straps.Ask yourself when you catch yourself splurging on buying generic toilet paper if you really and truly need it where you can get by instead with using newspaper from the local recycling bin instead.hehehehehehehehehe!!!You hear politicians that give money away to certain privileged people say that crap to the worker bees and some of the worker bees believe it.hehe!''not the part about the toilet paper,I made that one up to go along with how you could save money to buy the team of your dreams 200 light years from now if you discipline yourselves that long.
