odds of winning a 3 team parlay vs odds of winning the lottery

assuming their is a 50% chance on any Point Spread bet

If you take a 3 team parlay with points spreads you will have (0.50% * 0.50% *0.50) = 12.5% of winning it.

Now I dont know how the lottery works on the US, but on Panama they have 40 balls, 4 with each number and they sell 4 numbers tickets so the chance to hit one number is 10%. To hit the 4 numbers it will be (10% * 10% * 10% * 10%) = 0.01%.

so we got 12.5% vs 0.01% which one will you take?

It depends what game, but our lottery is not like the game you described. Only 1 ball w/ each #. My wife was born in Panama. The canal zone. Dad was in the us military.
