    ESPN GamePlan PLUS PPV
2nd Year in a row that even WITH both NFL Sunday Ticket and ESPN GamePlan I still have to order a regional game for $35 extra to watch it since it's blacked out on the GamePlan. Of course, call them and they will eventually waive the charge but what the hell? Anyone else have this issue with them?

Is it just HDMI > Tv? I keep scores and all on the laptop during games but prefer to watch the game on the big screen. I've got the 58'' Plasma (panasonic viera) so I know it can receive the USB...just not sure how to get it on screen. Give me some help if you can...will try it for next weekend.

well you gotta have hdmi on the lappy or desktop which most people don't. other then that you can get a vga cable to hook your lappy to the tv (same cable you use for desktop to monitor)....if your tv has a vga connection (pc in). look on the back of your tv for this:

I heard a kid talking about the whole set-up where you can eliminate the cable or satellite bill by using the computer and some website. I should have grabbed his number and paid him to come over and hook it up.

between hulu, espn3, cbs/nbc/abc putting full episodes on their website, and netflix now streaming i agree the days of paying for tv are getting outdated.

With "downloading" movies and shows, you can see anything on TV, i've thought about getting rid of my Satellite all together, but haven't.

With the VGA cable, do you get sound to the tv or is it just thru the computer?

I know back in the day when I'd hook up the PC to the TV, instead of thru the monitor you'd only get sound from the speakers on the pc/laptop.

yeah thats the only downside is it comes through the computer. but if you got a set of kick ass speakers, it makes no never mind!
