Sources: Carroll and Blank talk, but no job offer

Southern California coach Pete Carroll and Falcons owner Arthur Blank spoke via phone Wednesday to discuss Atlanta's head coach vacancy, but Carroll was not offered the job.

Hopefully he is just trying to get more money out of USC . . . Why would he want to go to atlanta? He is a college coach, didn't do too well in his NFL stints. . .

You'd have to think Atlanta would have learned its lesson, at least for this upcoming season.

He just heard Vick is entering drug rehab which equals early release.

JC called this in the beginning.
