AT Middle Tennessee St and only -1?

A BIG TEN team, who has a roster filled with players all better than MTSU....hell there probably isn't one player on Middle Tenn St that could make Minnesota's roster.

I want people's opinions and reasons why Minnesota should NOT be a RUBBERBAND PLAY???

Didn't Minnesota have that Good receiver DECKER or something like that last year? He's not back is he? Seemed like he was the only thing that Minny had last year, and can't be as good this year.

Minnesota had one of the worst offenses in the league last season. This season the only player worth a shit Eric Decker has graduated. They have another new offensive coordinator this season and want to simplify things and run the ball more. Last season they were the #111 team in rushing and couldn't run the ball worth a shit. There were games last season against PSU and Iowa where they could have played the game until Wednesday and still not scored. They hung in some games because the defense was not half bad but this season only return two starters and one of them is suspended for this game. This team struggled to beat South Dakota State last season and I find it hard to believe that the should be favored on the road against a team picked to win the Sun Belt even with a backup QB.

The future of Dwight Dasher, the college football quarterback at Middle Tennessee State is a yet unknown. The college ball player broke the rules, and accepted a $1500 loan from 80-year-old Oliver Donnell which he says he used to play poker with. Apparently, the football player lost it all. It’s not the losing that’s got him in hot water though. It’s not even the gambling.
In fact, as far as the NCAA bylaw’s are concerned, he can’t even be suspended for playing poker. Bylaw 10.3 online includes sports betting.
What he IS in trouble for however is taking the loan. Dasher, who played poker for Charlton County High is currently suspended for acceptance of the loan, which as a student football player is against NCAA rules.
The University is behind Dasher however, and has asked the NCAA to let him play ball again.

Athletic director Chris Massaro issued a statement before a news conference Friday. Dasher led the Blue Raiders to a 10-3 record last season and set a bowl rushing record with 201 yards in their 42-32 victory against Southern Mississippi in the New Orleans Bowl.
Dasher will be allowed to practice with the Blue Raiders, but school officials expect him to miss some games.
The Blue Raiders open the season Sept. 2 with a home game against Minnesota.

I dont know anything at all about MTS aside from their qb is out. Looks like a toss up to me but since MTS is projected to be a top 5 non BCS school. i heard they have a descent defense and solid weapons on offense. NO PLAy
