Go ahead and book OSU another free trip to the BCS game (where they'll no doubt get humiliated again). There's not a competitive team left in the conference...

Bad news for my Wolverines, and a nice way for Rodriguez to begin his coaching tenure.

Illinois. And OSU travels to Champagne next season.

Losing Arrington doesn't really hurt all that much, and I'm not sure Greg Mathews isn't already the better WR. Losing Manningham would be a blow, but he's been pretty adamant that he hasn't made his decision on whether to turn pro just yet. Rod's proclamation yesterday that Mario won't be on the team was just an assumption based on MM's not attended the first team meeting Tues.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Mallett's going to be a star, and I'd be surprised if he doesn't contend for the Heisman one day. He absolutely could have fit in Rod's offense, and anyone who says otherwise is foolish. UM's obviously still in contention for Pryor, and it's been known all along they couldn't have both he and Mallett, so Mallett's decision just puts even more pressure on UM to land Pryor.

          MSU on the way up
Illini will be there as Zook has always been a strong recruiter
Wisconsin, PSU have the talent to beat OSU on any given year.

Arrington is a very good WR. He proved it in the bowl game too. To say losing him doesn't hurt, is funny.
