Losing Arrington doesn't really hurt all that much, and I'm not sure Greg Mathews isn't already the better WR. Losing Manningham would be a blow, but he's been pretty adamant that he hasn't made his decision on whether to turn pro just yet. Rod's proclamation yesterday that Mario won't be on the team was just an assumption based on MM's not attended the first team meeting Tues.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - Mallett's going to be a star, and I'd be surprised if he doesn't contend for the Heisman one day. He absolutely could have fit in Rod's offense, and anyone who says otherwise is foolish. UM's obviously still in contention for Pryor, and it's been known all along they couldn't have both he and Mallett, so Mallett's decision just puts even more pressure on UM to land Pryor.Comment -
