I dont understand how they can get mad at Nyjer for stealing bases. Throwing the ball into the stands is over the line and Im sure hes gonna pay for that. The hit on the STL catcher was dirty because he didnt have to do that and it cost them a run. The catcher from last night was blocking the plate. We've seen catchers run over a million times for blocking the plate. The first time he got hit with a pitch he just took and ran down to 1st base. How can you get mad because he's running on you. Hes trying to win the game. Didnt you see the Col/Atl game last week when Colorado came back. Never give up. Okay, Unicorn!

yea i don't necessarily disagree with what you saying here. I guess i really don't know the rules that well... is it illegal to try and punch a first basemens glove on a close play to knock out the ball when you are running to first? where does it end....

but until they change the rule the play morgan made running over the catcher was the right one

2)It doesn't even make sense strategically to steal bases down 11 runs. Stealing a base to get 1 extra run while risking getting thrown out does not help your team. The mindset needs to be about the long run, not short run.
