    What is a Fade?
    Hi,

I'm new to this as I've explained a couple of times. I'm having trouble with the lingo.

What is a fade? I've seen it used here often and can't make heads or tails of it.

going against somebody or a team.

It basically means "to go against"

      Fade a certain handicapper
      Fade a certain team

      etc etc.

A fade is when you open your golf stance slightly, take the club back outside the intended line of flight, come across the ball in the hitting area, imparting a clockwise spin on the ball causing it to move from left to right otherwise known as a fade (or when I do it a gawdawful slice!!) ;-)

Like yesterday when you saw JJ Gold here announce he loved Ohio St +3.5, you "fade" him and bet LSU -3.5 for the easy winner.
