#38fuk you casper. i meant are we playing with our points or how does it work. who the hell wants to play with people that have 10k+ points and be knocked out in 1 hand. there is a lack of info in the OP.Originally posted by RudyRuetiggerno we'll just all sit there after we load the poker client. #39I think that you just have to PM your 5d account and then closer to the tourney date they are sending out instructions on how to install the SBR Poker software, its a tourney so everyone will start with the same stack, should be a good time.Originally posted by blackbeSStfuk you casper. i meant are we playing with our points or how does it work. who the hell wants to play with people that have 10k+ points and be knocked out in 1 hand. there is a lack of info in the OP.Comment -

#41the question is how could you not understand its a tourney. do you think someone will buy in with all their chips, some buyin with 6 points and SBR will have us play til someone has all the chips? all it takes is common sense, please try to use it in the future
Thanks in advanceComment -

#44Hi blackbeSST,Originally posted by blackbeSStso how does this work? is it an actual poker tourney?
Correct. It will be a standard multi-table tournament with a structure similar to the Bodog events, each player likely starts with 1500 tournament chips, standard blind levels, and those that finish in the top 5 will win the prizes listed in the 1st post (provided their 5Dimes account was submitted).Comment -

#45casper you are missing my point. please tell me where in the original post it says we will all start with the same amount of chips? from what i've seen the normal poker WILL NOT be like this. that is why i ask.Originally posted by RudyRuetiggerthe question is how could you not understand its a tourney. do you think someone will buy in with all their chips, some buyin with 6 points and SBR will have us play til someone has all the chips? all it takes is common sense, please try to use it in the future

there is a difference between tournament and cash games
in a tournament there are prizes such as you see in the original post. everyone starts with the same stack size, so if you have 10k less points it wont matter
in cash games there are 2 MAIN types limit and no limit.
in limit you can add pretty much your whole stack to the table. it doesnt matter because there is a set limit on the amount you can bet after each card
in no limit you can add usually 100 big blinds. so if you are sitting at a .5/1 table, 100 is the max buyin.
i hope this clears up all your concerns about people bullying you with 10k points as it is virtually impossible for that to happen.Comment -

#48I'm pretty sure free roll implies a tournament where you don't stake any of your own cash/points. Not sure what's so cryptic about it.Comment -

#495Dimes is the sponsor for this one, so if you have had your 5Dimes account closed and can no longer access it, the prize couldn't be issued.Originally posted by BigDaddywhat if you have a 5dimes account but it has been closed.
am i able to submit another book account for prize credit or do i just have to sit this one out?
will all the poker be sponsored by them?
thank you
There will be different sponsors used per event.Comment -
