I can't say I blame you sir. That off season trade with the [iSBRFORUM]Tigers[/iSBRFORUM] sure would do that to a [iSBRFORUM]Marlins[/iSBRFORUM] fan.

Looking forward to the start of bases as well.
I love (betting on) baseball.
Why? It's a pure sport, NO PENALTIES! Lots of games to choose from daily, juicy moneylines etc.
I had a very good season last year thanks to a few teams:
San Francisco - faded them alot and bet unders with confidence
Tampa & Washington - Came through as big dogs many times.
Toronto - the home team came through as dogs many times and lost as favs when I needed them to.
Colorado - made a killing on them towards the end of the year.
to baseball!!

Does anyone know if steroids are banned for good this year? I'm looking forward to see how players look like physically when they are off the steroids. It will also help me prepare for the upcoming fantasy draft. Your help is greatly appreciated.

my brother and i grew up in the san fran area and were giants fans. i remember when we went on family picnics to mickey grove park in lodi mom would bring the radio along and in between visiting the small zoo there and swimming in the ice cold pool we would pig out on fritos and cokes and listen to the game on the radio. i don't remember there being as many games on the tv back then so the baseball announcer played an important role. Before i moved out of california for the portland area , the giants had an annoucer i disliked quite a bit named Ron Fairly. So when i moved up north i was delivering pizzas at night (was a stay at home dad) and i immediately took to the seattle mariners. This is when they had randy johnson and maybe griffey jr , and dh martinez among others. i think the second season i was here they hired a new annoucer----Ron Fairly. ugghhhh. i stopped listening to their games when he was on, and i havnt been a big fan of baseball since, which doesn't mean i don't enjoy a game now and then, but i know my feeling for the sport has diminished. like many others, it is a bit of the "off-season" of sport betting for me, a time of looking forward to cooler weather and the beginning of football. I hope to get that baseball feeling back again someday that i enjoyed in my youth. have to check who's announcing this year...........

I love going to baseball games, they sure can be alot of fun. Although still have to say college basketball and college football higher on list for me.
Anybody have any good sites or advice about betting baseball? Havent done it yet but would like to try, figure I could start looking around now and everything. I'm in Florida so its great love to get to as many spring training games as I can. last year sat next to Gene Michael watching the Yankee game at Legends Field that was pretty cool got his autograph watching him scout players.
anybody ever do something like go to a game in each stadium? love to do something like that

anyone betting on pre-season games?
i hate ties though...that is the only bad part about mlb pre-season. 3 hours later 0-0 end of the game....go home and kiss your sister
