I don't mention my boyfriend anymore than other posters mention their respective significant others. I think you're overstating the matter. Today there's been a lot of gay talk, but it wasn't initiated by me, I was simply responding.

A lot of people take issue when I reference them in my posts, perhaps because I can tend towards being verbose, and they just shoot back a quick insult about me being bisexual. In doing that rather than addressing my original post, they are in fact responsible for turning the forum "gay". They force me to respond in defense, and as you may have learned, I don't back down.

I confine myself to the Players Talk, it's true, because I have no interest in watering down my gambling hobby with unreal expectations of long-term profitability. I enjoy the personalities on this forum and seek to socialize with them, not chase the "Holy Grail" of winning bets. I figure people obsessed with doing this stick to the sports-specific forums where content is much more closely regulated.

I subscribe to Nicky's theory of gambling in that 99% of people lose and any more than cursory handicapping is more than one needs. I make a good living and don't need to obsess over picking >53% winners to augment my income. I bet the side that seems smart to me after 10 minutes of reviewing the matchup and put a few bucks on it. I'm happy when I win and not troubled when I lose.

I don't understand why people expect the Players Talk to be entirely heterosexual when a topic arises of a sexual nature. Said topics appear with regularity, and I feel no guilt about adding my honest responses. Nor do I feel any guilt over defending my character or lifestyle when they are under attack.
