Not sure where to post this and I cant use PM's so here goes nothing.
On Saturday Toronto played Detroit in the only early game. I was watching the game since I had a nice chunk of real money on the game.
Well Toronto was winning big the whole game and took a 5-1 lead into the ninth inning. Well they ****** up and eventually won the game 5-4. I was watching the game, but maybe I am wrong somehow.
Well anyway, the SBR grading software listed the game as a 5-2 Toronto win. Well that was the score with 2 outs, but Detroit got a late double and pushed the score to 5-4 where it ended.
Thus, at least in any contest, Toronto -1.5 was graded a win when it was a loss. Also, anyone taking Detroit +1.5 got the loss instead of a win.
It played a role in the total as well since the total was 9. It should have been a push on the total instead of under winning.
Not sure that it matters, maybe the actual sportsbooks uses a different official scoring
