Is there an official pizza "term" for not putting sauce and toppings in the center of a pizza? When I try to tell the waitron that, or that I don't like the middle being soggy or weighted down by toppings, their eyes always glaze over.

Stick a beverage cup in the middle of the pizza, put shit around it. Done. Why is that so hard??
