Boys, I got royally phucked in the NFL this weekend. Jags -3, Tenn +10 and Tenn ML ate up 9% of my total acct. Hockey and the NBA helped me mitigate the losses so it works out to about a 5% loss overall. I'm not angry though. Funny thing is I sort of enjoyed it. Guess when you play this game for years as I have you can appreciate the beauty of losing close ones. I don't know.

In the old days a weekend like this one would have made me feel like I got phucked with a frozen wasabi log but nowadays I just kind of smirk and think, "yeah, Mr. sportsbook, you got me real good this time."

Gonna make it back on the NHL and NBA but just wanted to sound off and warn all you out there to fade my NFL picks from here on out.

I hear ya, I lost a sh_itload on the Sabres/Thrashers game today, took under 6.5 and score is 2-1 Atlanta after two periods, in the third period Atlanta scores two goals on its first two shots on goal to make it 4-1. Late in the third Buff scores to make it 4-2, with a minute left Buff pulls their goalie and with 15 seconds left turn the puck over, Atlanta scores into an empty Sabre net making the final 5-2 Atlanta.

I did luck out on the Chargers at -10, turned the game off at halftime and caught the last few minutes of the game once I checked the score online.

Yeah, after a few years, you almost become numb to a loss. I used to get a bit animated when checking scores. Now I just shrug my shoulders and move on to the next web based activity I'm doing.

Hey, betplom, sorry to hear that. I think we should just take any leafs opponent who gets a plus line. We'd be rich. LOL!

JB, it's like playing poker. You can't expect to win every hand. I bet a little bigger than I should have today though. Serves me right for abandoning my own rules.

Thats not too far off what I've been doing lately, had Philly +105 last night, although they lucked out, I'll take it.
