I'll get it tomorrow. I'm pretty certain I know the game I wanna hit.
Hopefully my guy will take the bet (we originally agreed on $1k max bets). When I started I thought there was no way I'd ever make a $1k bet. Now, I'm looking down the barrell of a $5k bet....crazy. My very first bet was $20 to win $10 on CC and the Yanks earlier this summer. How far I've come.
I think you meant to say "How deep I've dug" or "How far I've fallen".
The "How far I've come"---usually refers to winning.

I like how all of you fcks come in here bashing me as if you've never chased before.
I'm locked and loaded. NYY. I feel strangely calm about it considering I really can't afford to lose. I think because it's all just money I can't see or touch yet. I'm sure I'll feel differently if it comes time to pay him $10.9k.
I'm somewhat convinced now that there is such a thing as a gambling problem and I likely have one. I almost feel euphoric right now...like I can't afford to lose (quite literally). I saw this quote the other day and I now strongly identify with it.

It's like monoploy money right now to you until you got to pay up... must be why you are not really sweating it. I hope you hit it and I also hope you learn from this. I have been in a hole before and it can sneak up on you before you know it. Good luck tonight on the Yanks.

Of course we have all chased----but that's the point.
You have the good fortune of learning from everyone else's mistake but you choose not to.
I never want to see anyone lose. It is a horrific feeling. I was 22 when I went to Vegas for the first time-----I lost something like 3400 playing blackjack. That was a disgusting feeling I had. I never wanted to experience it again.
I hope you don't have to go through that lesson. GL.

That's brutal.
I guess it's all euphoric right now because I like the feeling of having way too much on the line.
I know I'm going to want to crawl in a hole and die if this loses.

I used to work some construction but got laid off at the start of the summer. It's actually how I met my guy..all the guys at the site were betting with him.
I haven't found much labor since then so I've been living off a small savings and gambling winnings. Not any more...
Just talked to my man. NYY -130 $6.5k to win $5k. God help me.
Best of luck, I hope you hit it.

Thanks Brother.
I just went down to 7-11 to grab a slurpee and saw a Catholic church (never noticed it before). Although I didn't grow up Catholic, my parents dragged me to a Protestant (Baptist) church. No joke, I went inside and said a quick prayer.

The only fun part about this is me being super-pumped that I'm now up $600 the day before I collect. The odd part is that I think you wanted to see me fail. I can't tell why'd you think that unless you had money on the A's tonight. But, I think what's more likely is that you're a spineless punk who doesn't have the stones to make a wager of that size. Now maybe I don't have the biggest checking account in the world but at least I have my dignity every morning. How does it feel waking up every morning w/o a spine? Must make getting out of bed somewhat hard.
What I never got was all the bashing. Sure I went through huge swings in the past week but it's gambling. Unless you had the A's tonight, I'm not sure why you'd root against me. Just to see another fail?
Go ahead with your witty reply and turn up the volume on the bashing. I'll remember that as I pick up $600 tomorrow.
