Aroldis Chapman threw a 105 MPH Pitch???
    ..."and was sitting at 103"

Not so sure if I believe this, as it seems pretty unreal, but apparently a scout clocked 105 and the scoreboard radar gun had it at 105 as well. That's some scary shit.

I was at a Braves AAA game earlier this year. That dude can throw some heat. You can't see the ball with a naked eye when he throws it and there is smoke tailing the ball when he throws the 105 mph heater.

he'll get people out on intimidation alone. Randy johnson had no control and still struckout tons of people.

Will need to see this in the bigs to believe it.
Might want to check that radar gun.

They said he hit 105 twice in that game and both were strikes. Agreed that the guns are probably juiced a bit, but its all relative as scoreboard guns everywhere are juiced.

The guns are not juiced. Why would the home team juice the gun for a pitcher pitching for the road team?

Scoreboard guns in minor leagues have been questioned regularly for their accuracy. They aren't going to change the gun for a home pitcher or visiting pitcher.

Through 2 games pitchFX registered his top speed at 103.9, 105 certainly seems plausible seeing that.
