    What's The Consensus On Parlays
I've been doing this for a month now and consider myself lucky because I made a 50% profit last month. My question is what everybody thinks about playing parlays. I've been using a system where I make 5% bets on games I'm comfortable with and then I do a 2.5% parlay bet on those games, two at a time. I've also been doing 5% parlay bets on overwhelming favorites that my book will allow me to bet on straight up. Those I've been doing 4-5 games at a time. Have I been just plain lucky right now or is this a good long term strategy?

Unless you're getting 14/5 on parlays, I think you will make much more betting straight at -105 .

Only mug punters play accas and parlays , if your being layed -110 about an even money shot its a mug play , if your taking 5 mug plays and multiplying them together then its an XXL mug play.

Unless your telling us you have a unique in site into NFL plays that has passed the collective wisdom of every odds compiler and sports handicapper by and your making value plays?

You would be better off taking your best pick, watching the dynamics at Pinny for a line move and then trying to get an extra 1/2-1 point at a book thats slow to move, which is a winning long term strategy.
