what with all the drama-queens. i post about sports and gambling, thats what i talk about. ive won more than i lost. people complain about picks and sports, but ive won and posted 99% sports here and in the sports forums. it would make a bit more sense if your issues were based on facts, instead of fiction.

I remember seeing your posts on EOG & The RX. What made you join SBR? How do you accumulate almost 1,000 posts in 2 weeks. That's got to be a record.

Always the way, another forum will take over the important, interesting technical niche if SBR allow this to continue.

They need to chose a path, and unfortunately seem to be choosing the degenerate one.

I used to read most threads here in the main forum, now I open up the main page, do a quick scan and close it.. there are probably some good threads I don't get to read, but they get lost in the mass of nonsense that has recently found its way in.

I really don't think it was a coincidence that the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria all landed simultaneously at SBR. It is a drastic change from how things were here whether it is positive or negative. the people that came over are good gamblers and good gambling posters. wrigley, munson, ttp, 5 star, ball rash, chalkbreaker, cee, teazeman, dray, slimshady, jakethompson, guitarjosh, janus....and some others, but those guys are good posters. they know sports and they know gambling. some on different levels than others, but as dmmd said earlier, it may have been too much for that many people to come at once, but if im posting somewhere why wouldnt i want to talk gambling/sports with these guys? they're good guys.

Coming into a thread after a game saying great pick is not really talking sports.

I always get a kick out of posts when someone makes picks and posters go nuts with congrats on the winner and everyone forgets the losers. The other day in your post on News Years blowouts Florida lost straight up then USC wins big and post after post was great pick, wow what a winner. Damn at that point you are 1-1 which is a loss in most books. Yes Ga came thru later for 2-1 on that post but it is a bit overkill when someone is 1-1 and people are going apeshit over the one winner.

I agree you post a lot of sports and picks but the rest of the gang I have yet to see sports related anything but props after a win.

They say I never post anything but if you read posts on upcoming games I give my opinion and also in the in game threads.

I dont start my own threads and list my picks because it is not worth it. I did that in Baseball and could win 5 days in a row and not one comment then the 6th day you lose and everyone bashes you. The most stupid comment I heard was you just pick the easy games. How insane is that. I had like 6 straight baseball winners but they were all favorites between -110 and -140. Anyone can pick those I was told.

I once said I can pick 60% in any sport all year long and was told I was crazy. I have been doing this for 30 years and know a little about sports. I proved it to the asshole in the BTP contest but he has yet to admit he was wrong. Of course it was a small sample size only 60 games but who cares.
