That ladies and gentlemen is 100.00 per barrell crude, i've been in this game a long time and it's a sight unseen to my eyes.

Certainly nothing I ever expected to see. Will start driving the wife's Toyota a few times a week instead of my gas hog pickup. It's either that or give up whiskey, and I'd rather give up gas.

I had a friend tell me he would not see $100 in his lifetime back in 02'... He said this while laughing which really pissed me off... So of course yesterday and today I called him to ask him if he was still alive...

I can honestly say that not only did I expect to see it but... what the hell took it so long... The first $100 options contract was three years ago.... Oddly enough it was Dec. 07'.. That's not sh*t either... I just remembered that..hmmmm

yo teaze saw the price of median homes and the dow I think 30 years ago and all three things oil, houses, and dow are up the same percentage.

I think people go wacky sometimes.

        Nice shot though

I'm not seeing that at all, at least the numbers I find do not support that those three items have seen price increases of the same percentages:

          CHART . 1978 . . 2008
          DOW . . 820.2. . 13,000
          GAS . . $0.63. . $3.00
          HOME. .$62,500 . $220,000
          INCOME $15,500 . $48K-$52K

You should have figured it was coming when you heard Bush & his cronies unzip their flys. They've got only 1 more year to complete their sodomization of the American economy - don't expect them to even use vaseline this year.

Searched around several sites, including Wall Street Journal and US goverment/census reports. Not to mention I was buying gas, stocks and a house 30 years ago and have a bit of my memory left (not much, but a bit )
