Happiness Tip: the One Minute Rule
I want to get into writing helpful stuff for the community. I'll start with a small entry. Something I've originally read on the issue of personal happiness is the "one minute rule," where if a task comes to your mind that you know to take less than a minute, do it immediately. I think this works best in getting your mind beyond the irrational thinking that a tiny bit of work doesn't make up for a long term annoyance. For me, this didn't take long to translate into getting more heavy cleaning and organizing done. Hope this helps some of you.

...along the lines of Adam Carolla's rule. If it makes you feel better, or makes you money then do it.

I have read many of these sorts of Tips and have implemented them in my life. Procrastination is a dreadful disease.

Tell me about it. I used to be a horrible procrastinator and still not that good at getting stuff done when I should. It's hurt relationships and especially my career.
