FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. -- Alpharetta Department of Public Safety officials said three men accused of staging a violent home invasion while posing as law enforcement officers have been arrested.

Investigators said the men bound their victims in duct tape and shot pepper spray into their eyes.


Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home invasion at a mobile home on Aug. 15. Police said a broadcast was issued to all area law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for a black Ford Crown Victoria with tinted windows.

Knowing the suspects were armed, Alpharetta police said they took extra caution in approaching the vehicle after an officer stopped it on Old Milton Parkway an hour after the home invasion. Officials said the three men surrendered peacefully.


“When we seized the vehicle, we did recover loaded handguns, a shotgun, pepper spray, security badges and police-type duty belts. These people were very determined to impersonate police officials," said George Gordon of the Alpharetta Police Department.


Police identified the three men as Orlin Avila-Castellano, Bryan Manuel Bonilla and Jairo De Los Santos. They were arrested and charged with several felonies.


Police said two of the three men under arrest are illegal immigrants. The third is in the United States on a VC.

I just read a story about a guy who robbed a bank. Later, he taunted the police with a email. The police traced the email and arrested him a few hours later.

A local radio station has a bit called The Idiot Files. Today they had a story about a guy and girl in a motel room that couldn't find their $8,000, so the guy called the cops. The cops found it in the microwave, next to a pound of coke.

They won't be illegals for much long. Will be deported since they commited felonies. I'm not sure what happens though. Do they get tried here in the US and then deported to their country to serve time or do we have to pay for their incarceration in a US prison?

Yea pavy, 1st they will get to sit in the county jail for a year or two, then they will plead guilty, and get to spend 10-15 years in a state prison. Then they should be deported to their country of origin,but ONLY if it will take them back. Thats the catch with illegals, most countries they come from wont take them back after being involved in major crimes. After all this, your guess is as good as mine as to where they go.
