Damn are those guys something else. I'll think very hard before laying points to an SEC team in a bowl game again, perceived mismatch or not. And the sick thing is they are matched up against supposedly better opponents from other conferences in every bowl game (i.e. Big Ten #2 vs. SEC #4, CUSA #1 vs. SEC #6, ACC #3 vs. SEC #4, Big 12 #3 vs. SEC #5, etc.). I grew up a Big Ten fan, and when I went down to play tennis for an SEC school I couldn't believe how serious they take football. Those boys are mean as **** on the field! Of course having better weather, a higher proportion of minorities, and better natural talent doesn't hurt either it should be noted. Like many sports I think it comes down to everyone collectively raising their level of play to compete, and it's really showing in their bowl performances. How anyone plays that kind of conference schedule and doesn't always take 2-3 losses is beyond me....
