At 9 am tommorrow i will be overdrawn
at the bank, i got 42 in the account and discover card takes out 67 as soon as discover opens in the morning automatically whatever that means.

My bank charges 75 a day i think but can't remember how many days, no overdraw protection

I got 43 bucks in my wallet to put in the account tommorrow but i think it will be too late. Not sure if i can be at the bank and then not be overdawn at 9 am or not.

Discover card is closed on sundays. they said call in the morning but it will be too late

maybe you could sit down with a personal teller and explain what happened, they might cut you some slack here and hold the overage fee.

        1. like i/others have said quit paying discover. you have it set up to auto bill pay for the min apparently. you are their bitch right now and should stop asap

        2. go to the atm right now and deposit the cash there. it works fine and cash deposits go through instantly

Or spend a dollar and buy a money order and put it in the night deposit at your local branch tonight....all deposits from the weekend have to be figured up before withdrawls can happen in the morning

Some how a person in Amsterdam was trying to use my debit card, lucky for me it was an account i do not use anymore. Something tells me BetFair has something to do with it.

You'll be hit overnight....but if it's first time you've been overdrawn...go in and talk to them...they'll usually credit it back once. Good luck man, hope times get a little better for you.

i do have 1200 bucks at doyles room and can't get it off. If i could find someone that would play hu for lets say 500 bucks. I would let them win, they keep 100 of the 500 for themselves and they send me 400??

Sounds like a deal to me, yet to have anyone say yes to the offer though

Reason i can't get it off is , is that they won't let me take it off since i never deposited and that i live in ky and they have recently banned ky from depositing and withdrawing at doyles room.

Your bank ATM should have a slot for cash deposits.

Don't do this- its illegal but I read in one of the other forums, a poster needed quick cash, so he entered in on the screen an amount that was larger than the amount he had put in the envelope. Then immediately withdrew the (higher) amount of money. (Giving himself a very short term loan). But he had to pay it back the next day at the bank, with a story that he made an "honest" mistake. But who knows.

I actually accidently typed 300 once for a cash deposit(had 200). I realized i did it after lookin at the reciept and i called bank when i got home. They said they'd take care of it but never did...free 100 bills

as far as i know there are no envelopes at the atm machine to do this there. Its integra bank

                                Question 2
Would this be quicker then me showing up at the bank to deposit at 9 am??? Im pretty sure they are slow at checking the envelopes and deposits since only 2 people even work at the bank it seems

Bank of America has an actual cash slot on their atm's for deposits!

it gets credited immediately! you can even deposit checks in their atm's, but it's not immediately available sometimes!

I honestly can't remember how it works in the States anymore, but here in Australia auto-payments come out at midnight or 2am depending on your bank. If someone confirms that that's the same process for you guys, then I'd suggest finding an ATM for your bank that accepts deposits. Put your money in and cross your fingers that when the payment comes out, the system will have recognized that you technically have enough money in your account even though it hasn't been physically verified yet.

All else fails, go into your bank tomorrow with a sob story and the cash to cover it. If you're a decent customer, they should waive the overdrawn charge. Best of luck.

If your bank is equipped with atm's that accept cash, then yes, you can put $1 bills in and it gets immediately credited!

The Community Bank (same as BOA) here just has an envelope slot. You have to manually enter the amount you have put in your envelope. The ATM/computer has no idea how much you put in the envelope, but the teller sure will in the morning. The amount you enter in is immediately credited to your account.

                                                          tt,

I'm in Korea, if you think the US bank ATMs here are good - the Korean Bank ATM's are much more advanced. To enter cash you do have to enter all the bills and it will count it for you. But the best features of these ATMs are that people can pay their phone, electric, water, gas, along with all other commercial bills, all right from the ATM. No need to mail the payments. Its basically online banking for all at the ATM. Its great.

I'm surprised no one has said this sooner:

                                                            Credits post before debits

So if you deposit that money tomorrow before 5, it will post before any debit on your account.

                                                            Problem solved. Rest easy.
