difference between push/loss or win/push for most people wasn't as painful as mine - i went from 500 win to 75 loss

last time i remember anything that bad as an ending was steelers getting a field goal blocked and inexplicably returned for a td (can't remember who) to cover the spread on the last play. bill cowher almost tripped the guy on purpose running down the field and i wish he would've - that would've saved me the game

i looked it up it was 1997 monday night football at jacksonville
steelers were covering the spread, down 2 - last play of the game no way to lose it except that blocked kick return

wow i had to go back 13 years to remember an ending as painful as tonight

biger i was risking 75 (sf -2.5 -115 or 50 if minnesota covered -110) to win 500 on the 49ers winning by 3

so essentially risking 63 to win 500

if 15% of games are won by 3 points, in this case i thought i had about a 10% chance of sf winning by 3 points and i was meeting some rollovers so it was a good decision that didn't work
