what are you trying to sell? What did he say? Only problem with paypal is you can do charge backs. He would have to send it as a gift because then i believe you can't do chargebacks.

PayPal is more than fine 99% of the time. But if you "think" he is trying to scam you then be careful.

Paypal is safe as far as buying off the internet....I ordered merchandise off the net....Was charged and never received goods.

I put a complaint in with Paypal.....After a review by them,I was reimbursed.

If you're buying on Ebay, you're practically safe because they almost always side with the buyer. If you're a seller, then you might very well be out of luck.

if it is an out of state transaction and you are doing the buying... almost guaranteed a scam. i think there is a lot of information online if you search for it. be careful.
