This is my issue with Matchbook___ everyone please read
Ok I go to make a wager on the Orlando Magic and the side I want is -112 and I can't get anything better than that....

SO then I win my bet and get a lousy payout compared to lets say CRIS at -110 and furthermore Matchbook takes a portion of my winnings as their commission

Am I just a complete idiot?

Don't say I could have set my price at -105 and just assumed I would get that price because that's not feasible if you ask me

Well you could have set your own price.

This is the reason why I use more than just Matchbook for my wagering purposes. You can sometimes find a better price elsewhere sometimes, without paying the 2% commission.

Let me get this straight: Your problem with Matchbook is that they aren't ALWAYS the best line on the side you want? I just want to make sure I am clear on this...

People often say the same thing about Pinnacle and books that tend to move the price instead of the line. It sounds like you need to add a few options. Check out SBRlines for an idea on where the best number is and go from there.

            1) You are a ****.

What are you betting, $12 a game? So you get $10 back instead of $11. Cry me a ****ing river.

Cris is easy enough to fund --- so send them so money. Matchbook USUALLY has the best lines. Not alwaysl.

Your picture is of a tanned douche bag, and I think *********

I kind of hope ************** 3) total disregard for economics.

Yea and then on top of that they take a commission of my profits. I don't get charged a commissions at sportsbooks like CRIS or WSEX, they simply charge -110 the majority of the time

                So play somewhere else.

But, if you don't realize that you'll get a better # at matchbook most of the time, you shouldn't be betting at all.

Everyone should have several books anyway.

Consider the commission part of the vig. Matchbook has not made the sportsbooks obsolete, it is merely one of the best options. Think of the line as -114. MB offered -114, CRIS offered -110. That will happen sometimes. It can be considered the MB lean (assuming it isn't just CRIS offering you the -110).

Rake, if you don't understand the benefits of an exchange, don't play there. You can set any price you want, and your assumption that getting a better price than the one offered on the board is not feasible is 100% incorrect.
