I've just lost a ton of respect for Tony Dungy

[QUOTE=BigBollocks;464502]Of course Dungy couldn't have cared less whether the Titans won by 6 or 9, and obviously the quote about letting his players down because they didn't try to block a FG with 25 seconds left and go down and score a TD in a game that means absolutely nothing is beyond absurd.

That's exactly the problem, he couldn't have cared less, and he showed it way too obviously. Nobody is arguing that point. What they needed to do was have more respect for the game and not tell your opponent beforehand not to bother running plays because we won't use basic strategy and use our remaining time out and make you fully earn a victory.

Your ranting about how many posts I have is what is beyond absurd. I guess opinions only matter and have validity if you have over 1k posts. I guess that;s how you rack up the posts by writing stupid comments that don't add anything.

It's annoying that coaches pull this sh*t, but if you bet on games in week 17 that's part of the deal. Thought about it some more and instead of blaming Dungy for his lack of class, I prefer to salute Coughlin for going way beyond what was needed. The Giants and Pats gave us one of the very best games of the season. Thank God the Pats didn't have to play Indy in this historical spot.

Dungy doesn't care about the fans. For me, as a fan of the game, the feeling is mutual. I think I'll call him Tony Downer Dungy.
