i guess everyone could argue this list anyway they want. i could agree with the top 3 an any order, i'd move Elway up, he was amazing on 4th Q drives. i'd drop Aikman to 100, but thats because of my despite for the Cowgirls, and with that said, i might have to put Neil O'Dumbfukk at 101, that bastard cost me money in SB 96', throwing Int's straight to Dal. players, no receiver even in the area.

Kurt Warner had an amazing run, Dan Fouts had his prime a bit before this era, and after that... well, this list looks solid.

Joe Montana was the 82nd pick in 1979, Dan Marino was the 27th pick in 1983, John Elway was the #1 pick in 1983, Jim Kelly was the 14th pick in 1983 (although he took a detour into the USFL for a while), Steve Young was a 1st round pick via the supplemental draft and also did some time in the USFL. Steve Young was traded to the 49ers for a 2nd and 4th round pick after failing in Tampa Bay and was replaced by American Legend Vinny Testeverde. Brett Favre was the 33 pick in 1991 and was traded for a 1st round pick a year later. Peyton Manning was chosen 1st in 1998. Tom Brady was chosen 199th in 2000. Troy aikman was chosen 1st in 1989. Warren Moon is the monst interesting case. ANYONE could have had Warren Moon had they been willing to let him stay as a QB and not change positions to TE. He went up to Canada and won 5 straight Grey Cups. Eventually he returned to the NFL and signed with Houston as a free agent (remember he was undrafted).

                    So let's recap:

3 #1 picks that only played for 1 franchise: Aikman, Manning (not Eli), and Elway.
2 other 1st round picks that only played for 1 franchise: Kelly, Marino
2 early picks that were considered busts and were traded to a much wiser franchise (Young, Favre)
1 midround pick who ruined tortured me (Montana)
1 day 2 pick who turned into Montana (Brady)
1 undrafted victim of racism (Moon)

Add in Kurt Warner coming out of nowhere and you can see what kind of crapshoot finding a great QB can be. Some seem obvious and go 1st, some aren't first but go high in the draft, and some can basically be grabbed by anybody who realizes their potential.

Who is to say which QB currently in college will be the next great pro? Not I.

Yeah when I made this list I thought about if I was to start a team and who I would want my QB to be... Elway great QB I could definitely see the argument wanting to put him higher
