Johnny Miller the golfer, his trademark term is''being stymied''sounds like me.
I constantly get stymied on playing the -1 1/2 or + 1 1/2 and the over and unders on hockey parlays. That means usually that sometime in the 3rd period the bet comes to a screeching halt because I can't cheer for my team to score a goal because it will go over when I have the under.

Same goes for football with me where I always seem to have a team -2 and the under at 58 and it's tied 28-28 in overtime and I get the win with a field goal but lose on the over-under.

I always hear ex pro golfer and now golf annalyst Johnny Miller talking about getting stymied in golf where you have a tree in front of you and a water hazard on the right and one on the left where you are damned no matter what you do.It's like Oliver Hardy says, here's another fine mess you have gotten me into Stanley.

It also reminds me of this website article about what happened to our economy in this country. www.afr.org/editorials/krautkramer/072904.htm

I'm going to change my photo-icon dealie from Reverend Jim to Stymie from The Little Rascals. This whole friggin world is one big Stymie these days!!!!!
