I heard somewhere where PBR has a big fan base in Texas? It's a growing label among the under 40 crowd wherever it's sold. The best average budget priced beers ever produced back when they were brewed by original brewers with original recipe,PBR and Hamm's.Anyone agree? How are the new versions, about the same????
What the hell ever happened to Stroh's?????When it was a regional beer in Detroit and Michigan,it was fantastic. Then they start mass marketing it and change the recipe and within a few years it goes extinct.Does anyone still brew it?
They just started brewing Schlitz again somewhere.Another old school extinct beer but with less following than the 3 I mentioned.Old Millwaukee their 2nd brand was a fan favorite.Anyone remember buying cheap old Mill as a kid in high school?Back in 78 you got these brown blob 12 ounce bottles of it for $5 a case, tax and all.
