Question for iphone and android owners

I'm looking into upgrading my phone. Which one is better for SBR posting and also placing offshore bets using the web?

Now what happens when you post from the phone and not your home computer? Does your IP address stay the same or does is change when you post from the phone?

IP is the same if you're using a wifi connection.

When you post from your phone using the SP Network you have a different IP however if you use your Home Wireless Network and you post from your phone you will have the same IP address.

I like using my droid phone cuz i downloaded opera mini browser on it, so its almost a fully functional browser, when you post from the phone not from the computer it will be the same ip only if you are posting from WIFI if you are posting from your data network 3g or 4g then it will be a different IP

Also I'm not into listening to music or videos with it. But I want it to be dependable when I'm placing bets or posting at SBR.

The reason I ask about IP's is because some places block sport gambling websites. So that's why I need to know how the phone detects the IP address. I hate to be at a place getting ready to place a dime bet on a football game only to find out I can't access 5Dimes.

There are some kinks posting w/ my droid. It goes through fine, but there are some nuances. From all accounts (you can asses the sources) the iphone works seamlessly posting.

If you see yourself using media at any point android phones will eclipse the Iphone. Also, consider what service you are using, if you live in the areas where ATT/Iphone have issues (NYC, Chi-town, San Fran) that is a major factor. I have never dropped a call on Verizon/Droid, that is just inexcusable.

Both iPhone and Android phones can use the web and place bets just fine. Don't let anyone tell you differently. If you are using the phone's data connection the IP will be from your provider, and none of them should be blocking any gambling sites.

If you're concerned about reliability I would look into which provider has the best connection in your area (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, Tmobile)

I am very happy with my Motorolla Droid. As a matter of fact, I'm posting from it right now.
I have no experience with the iphone. I suspect either would do what you are looking for - post and bet.

Either Phone will work. Base it off of which service you want to run.

End these stupid threads. Both Iphones and Androids are both great phones, both do about the same. Every choice between the 2 should be based on what service you want to use, and what is cheaper.

Pavy go for an android and make sure its on 2.2 thats the latest software and its miles ahead from other android phones and Iphone , if you are gonna use 5dimes make sure you go to 5dimes.tv not .com

The Droid you can post easy as hell but you can also watch all the SBR.tv videos with no issue.
If you are Sprint and in a 4g market get an EVO you will love it just ask me or Brock.

This always turns into a pissing contest, but I'd have to agree with ngates. Both phones will work great, but it should be about your service so your connection is reliable. If you don't care about HD-video or watching flash on the web and all that stuff, then go buy the one you think looks good and feels right - f*ck the other stuff.
