ive been involved in sports since i was 7,and for me my dad was like a sports encyclopedia.thus hes kept me in the know with the 60s and 70s.i have never seen any player that has been hated more than tim with the exception of barry bonds.do people hate this guy because he played on the florida gators,and was either on cbs,and espn,and you couldnt exscape it.i myself believe people hate him because of his faith.i might agree that he talks to much about jesus,but to me hes a good role model to look up to.the guy almost died at birth and was the runt of the liter.plus he worked really hard to become one of the greatest ncaa qbs of all time.if the guy fails he fails,but i wish people would lay off.

I use to love to hate the kid. But that was more to do with the fact he played for my hs (Nease) and I just knew he was gonna sign with Bama over Florida. I know looking back now that was not a bright thing to think. But one thing for sure is I have always respected the heck out of the kid. He is a winner and winners win and losers lose. Thats a fact. Now that he has left Florida I am a huge fan and I hope for nothing but major success down the road. Its kind of like Tiger Woods(sports wise not off the field).....you love him or hate him but one thing is for sure....when he is on it is something special to watch.Comment -

they've been hatin on him for a long time "oh his game doesnt translate to the NFL. great college QB, but he'll never make it in the NFL." people on tv and around the water cooler just throw this out to try to sound smart and with the consensus. people are dumb. hes strong smart and one of the best leaders sports has ever seen. he understands the game and is learning to release the ball quicker at a better angle.....again- people are just dumb and hating because its the trend.
