In football, SBR provides a calculator to determine whether you should pay -110 and receive a half point or pay -105 and give up a half point, for example. This is extremely useful for making smart bets.
But there is no such calculator for basketball. I assume this is because there are no key numbers in basketball like there are in football. There is no equivalent to 3 or 7 in basketball. (Or is there?)
Therefore, if I have a choice, I always take the -105 and half-point worse line than pay -110 and get a half point better line. Am I doing this right? Or is there a better approach?
