    Where to play
I live in America and would like to open an online account without having to give up my credit card or bank account numbers. It seems I can use money transfers or money grams to do this. Do any of you guys deposit via this method? How exactly does it work? And what books do you feel are the best for the American player?

    Thanks for the help

Welcome to the SBR forum Mrburns!

I would recommend you check out SBR's recommended list and try to stick to only A books or better to be on the safe side... The Greek, Bookmaker, Matchbook, all are quality places to play at.

Moneygram is simple, book will provide you with sending details, go to your nearest moneygram location (they're in all walmarts/check cashing places etc), and send cash to the name/place provided and pay a $9.99 fee. Then confirm the transaction with the book and your money will be credited within 20 mins usually.

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum mrburns443

Book-to-Book transfer and MoneyGram/Western Union type deposits are probably the most popular way to fund your account these days.

All these methods I mentioned above are fairly simple really. If you decide to make a deposit via MoneyGram or Western Union at all. You would just need to go to one of the many stores that accept those transfer solutions, and fill out the forms. Usually your money will hit your sportsbook account within roughly an hour. If you wish to do a book-to-book transfer at all, you need to check with the book you choose to make sure they have that option available.

As far as finding a top tier type book goes. I would either recommend WSEX or BetJamaica.

BetJamaica is more of a recreation book and does offer nice reload bonuses, however since they are a recreational book they could cut your limits. They don't offer a live chat service, but they do answer their emails within 5-10 minutes. The banking options aren't the greatest out there, but nobody's are these days for U.S. customers, however they also offer one free payout via Fedex per calender month (min. $200), and $35 flat fee after (usually receive checks within 3 days). The lines they offer are very competitive with most other books IMO.

WSEX has more of a professional type flavor to them, and will not cut your limits. Their customer service is very good, and they do offer a live chat feature which is a plus for those who want their question answered ASAP without picking up a phone and dialing. They also offer a rake free poker room if thats your thing, as well as live betting on selective games on a daily basis.Their banking option aren't exactly the best, but again I say it's do to the U.S. law restrictions, and the withdraws for Fedex checks are reasonable at only $30 (usually received within 2-4 days). Bonuses are hardly offered, but they do send out special email offers and or special reload offers on their website from time to time.

WSEX does cut limits. But I don't think this really changes anything for your recs.
