First off,I think the Indians got a raw deal when all the buffalo were slaughtered and left to rot.2nd of all,the government treated them like children where they made them dependent like what a parent does giving allowances to their children.
That said and done,they have soverenity and from day one if I were the Indians I would have distanced myself from receiving government handouts only to be told by the government how to run the tribes and reservations.
So during Christmas now they have been running a tv show an hour on how bad it is for millions of people in poverty in this country.They hit on how allot of Indian tribes and their members are in dire straights.
So how many Indians ''native americans'' are there in this country??Not that many,maybe a couple million tops?right?
How many Indian casinos are there and how much money do they take in???It's got to be absolutely huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So,aren't the Indians a little on the socialistic,what's mine is yours and what's yours is mine mindset?Yup!Then why in god's name doesn't each Indian get a dividend from a casino syndicate co-op partnership dealie?It would easily be between 50-100 K per person conservatively guessing?
Some tribe members like the Shakopee Sioux in Minnesota get 500Ka year each from their Mystic Lake twin cities casino.Even the kids get a share.Is their life better because of it.Not from the looks of things.Too bad that non profit professional poverty adminstrators don't realize that it's all about money management and behavior as to why poverty happens to allot of people.

Tell me of a better possible situation a whole race of people could be in then to have a monopoly on owning casino gambling in this country where the government prints entitlement checks to old people to spend in casinos.
