Looking forward to any picks you have during the season, John! Will they be reserved for only SBR Pro's to see?

The BIG TEN is probably going to be on par or better than the SEC this season........NORTHWESTERN is going to be a very solid football team this season.

I would stay clear of this game WIZARD........it's either NW or PASS.

WIZARD, by the way, how are the travel reimursements handled for the bash??.....do you just pay the posters in cash at the bash?

...every conference has its couple of standouts. I'll take the painted line against N'western anytime they are a double digit road favorite for the rest of my days and dbl the bet if they are dbl digit road favs below the Mason-Dixon line.

I do not remember how reimbursements are handled. PM Lou.

Wrong on nearly all of these. First, Northwestern is a 2.5 to 3 point favorite over the worst team in the SEC. Where you get double digets is beyond me. Northwestern is easy money. Next, LSU is NOT playing at home. It is a neutral site game. Had you paid attention this summer, you could have taken LSU at +3, when the future line came out. Oklahoma State will finish no better than 5th in the Big 12 South, and maybe 6th. They lose just about their entire offense. Rice had the 110th ranked scoring offense last season and the WORST (120th) ranked scoring defense in the nation last season. What is the big suprise about Texas being favored by 30? I hope that answers some of your questions. I would fade you on everything you picked here and come out the winner, though I have no problem with Purdue covering against Notre Dame.

Don't bet college football until the 4th week. That's when you separate the contenders from the pretenders.

If you can afford losing your bankroll the first 3 weeks please do so. Books love reloads after 3 weeks. People like you keep the books in business.

You know John, as the good book states. Jesus leaned over to Noah and said "let's gamble". John, may Christ bless this college season and all your plays.

I won't get wrapped around the axle on N'western. Maybe they are 4 td's better. I haven't started to see who brought back who but games like Colo St getting 2 TD's vs blood rival Colo and even Rice getting nearly 30 against a true soph qb making his 1st start, I like. NC also, much improved but prime time opening against a tough LSU and only getting 1.5?? I smell some special lines coming !!!!!!

Vanderbilt just lost their head coach. They may not win a SEC game this season.

Last year was very organized and SBR put on a hell of a Bash. As soon as I walked in the door and got my name tag, I met Shannon and he knew I was on the list. He handed me $300.00 cash.

And that is also when the LVSC linesmakers, who are a lot sharper than the gamblers are, have also separated the contenders from the pretenders. If you want to make money in this business, you must be able to separate the contenders from the pretenders in weeks 1-3, because you will have many more bad lines in the first 3 weeks of the season, than in weeks 4-13, especially when conference play rolls around. If you wait, you lose. It is that simple. Just look at the payouts. Why do the books make more money as the season progresses? It is because the lines are sharper overall.
