Texas high school football is intense

Wasnt quite enough as Judson fell 13-10 in the texas championship saturday. Quite a team though. A champions heart and 3 recent texas championships were not enough. Judson finished the reg season 6-4 but tore up teams in the playoffs on the way to the final.

here in Ky. they have been debating whether to allow catholic schools to compete with public schools, because Trinity and St. X both of Louisville keep kicking everyones tail. the public schools argument is that the catholic schools get to recruit players from all over and the public schools have to use whoever is in their district.

They have the same argument here in CO. Its usually Mullen who runs the table.

that guy leaves it all on the field....you should see him when hes drinken. his line was outweighed by an average of 70lbs on both sides of the ball, still made it a game

I've lived here practically my entire life, and it still amazes me sometimes how much high school football means to so many folks. Driving east to Houston on Saturday a.m., there was a very steady stream of cars heading west to San Antonio with that Katy Tigers flags waving out the windows and decorated with the Katy logos/player names. They pulled off their fifth state title (fourth at 5A level) by beating Pflugerville on Saturday at the Alamo Dome. Read that there were something like 60 local TV stations that carried the game in addition to some of the FOX cable affiliates.

I live up here i Fort worth and can tell you that the Trinity team is full of Islanders, I play rugby with a bunch of their fathers and I will tell you if you have never been hit by a pissed of islander then you dont know what it fells like to get hit, that Trinity team should have beat South Lake last year but their dumb coach decided to try a fake punt with about a minute or two left in the game and missed it. My brother in laws both played at South lake and their games at Texas Stadium pretty much fills up the entire bottom section with fans its crazy here.
