I live in DC and have been a skins fan my whole life. Lots of buzz around here, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up quite yet. I think they have a shot to make a wild card spot though

If there defense is top 10 then this is a playoff team. The coaching has been terrible, while they were in almost every game last year. Although McNabb is not great he is a big upgrade.

It's only preseason and Skins were expected to do well in preseason, as Shanahan is now 42-19 last 61 NFLX games after the win. None of this will mean anything once season starts.

yeah skins looked very good = what a difference a coach makes, skins picked a good one, but poor ol chan galey cant win no matter where or a whatever level. how anyone would ever hire him as a head coach is beyond me. he must give one hell of a blow job.

As a Skins fan, my take on things is that the O-line is much improved, and in Brandon Banks we'll finally have a punt returner who doesn't just run side-to-side and lose a couple of yards (Antwaan Randle-El)

Ryan Torain looked pretty damn good, and Shanny has a history of turning these no-name RB's into 1000 yard rushers, not saying I'm expecting that out of him, but it'd be nice.

Our obvious weak point is having some pretty shitty receivers. Santana is our #1, yet would be lucky to be a #2 on most teams. Obviously Chris Cooley is amazing, and we may be getting some production out of Fred Davis, but besides those three there isn't much besides some young guys who haven't done much and the 50 year old Joey Galloway.
