both players were great. But Malone was an alpha dog and enforcer, Pippen was a complete player and Robin.

its hard to compare. 2 different positions and 2 different roles (malone as "the man" and pippen as "robin to jordan's batman"). They were both great at what they did. It's like trying to compare Shaq to someone like say Stockton. It's apples and oranges.

I do remember Pippen would throw games whenever he went on his man-period (contract disputes, not getting the ball enough etc...)

Malone never mailed it in, he always delivered which is why he was "the Mailman."
