Going to be in DC in Late September, NYC in Early Oct

Need advice on Hotels in both places..

not looking to spend more than 100-150 a night and want to be able to walk to the white house/ford's theatre..

I have a White House Tour booked through my congressman for Monday September 27th and i see "fuk me in the ass" rates everywhere in DC.

Will be in NYC Wednesday night the 29th, leave Friday the 1st of October, so JJGOLD, ZETA PSI.

Again need hotel room info, and i can look on Expedia, but its all ass fuk rates. i want to stay close to cool shit, and like i said in DC i have all kinds of tours booked for the 27th, 28th, and early on the 29th..

Help a brother out Cuz...


Wife and Son will be along, so keep that in mind, need 2 beds and no ghetto's.

Skip DC we dont need you here pal. You cheap **** want a $150 a night room in DC yet have tours set up on three different dates. Come at me with a better price point and I might not get you killed. Cheapest you will find is on the other side of the bay bridge(At least 90 minutes to DC)
I used to know some places you could stay for free
but i doubt you want to take the family to a shooting galley
With NYC best bet is to stay in North Jersey and take the train or Ferry but when you factor the ride in sometime it is cheaper to stay downtown
See if there are any boutique hotels near alphabet city section of Manhattan it was a complete war zone when i frequented there but i believe they have reclaimed some of it,but not all of those blocks so you may get a deal on the room over looking the war zone

The rooms themselves were tiny, they couldn’t have been over 12 x 15. The “bathroom” was nothing more than a broom closet with a toilet, shower, and sink shoved into it. The staff was less than courteous, although I think they must have just been embarrased to be working at such a dump. I think that it’s possible that the Hotel Harrington was perhaps a really nice place at one time - 30 years ago. But apparently the owner doesn’t want to keep the place up."

I was in NYC about 2 months ago and i stayed at a placed called Wingate by Windham, it was great if you are there for sightseeing. It is about 5 minutes from Penn Station, MSG, Times square and about 10 minute walk to Rockefeller center and also Empire State. Anywhere else you can go to Penn station and it will get you there. I researched my trip for months and this was one of the best locations for me, and it was in your price range around $160.Hope that helps

Wife and I go to NYC several times a year. The Sheraton Hotel and Towers on 7th Avenue and 54th St arent to bad, around $300 a night, more of a business hotel, but plenty of tourists, and a decent location. We also stay at the Times Square Hilton (same price range) sometimes, its more trendy then the Sheraton but its really nice, and less of a walk to the Theatre District or Madison Sq Garden. I would recomend either of these hotels for visiting the Times Square area.
