    SBR consultants needed:
Between xmas and New Years I have a few quality control projects that I would like to have a couple of posters help me with.

If you want to kill a couple of hours please PM me. I only need a couple and will probably get a decent amount of requests. Write me with the project listed below you feel best qualified to perform and why.

The pay is $50 an hour and will be paid by company check by mid Jan.

    The projects include:
QC on SBRLines, logging line moves compared to pay services.
Rating replies and responses of SBR forum mods.
Suggesting changes to next years BTP contest.
Write ups on the pro and cons of the SBR forum as well as SBR competitors

      In a nutshell.

SBR Odds is very good and continues to improve.

Including totals would my main suggestion for BTP. A detail would be to extend the deadline to Sunday for Sunday games, if not all season, then at least for weeks without Saturday games. (I'm not in favor of hiding picks, as has also been suggested.)

The mods are doing a fine job, and I couldn't tell you anything about competing forums that you don't already know.

As to the pros and cons of the SBR forum. The pros are obvious. So that leaves the cons. The one critique I have about this forum is that there is too much of a 'vibration' that gamblers are supposed to lose. This attitude, of course, breeds its own following. A forum that stands out for its positive sharing of angles and methods is that of Statfox, in the same way that Jay Edgar shared his NBA approach all of last season. Why is he no longer here? That's a question you will have to answer for yourself. I can only imagine what this forum could be like if it would combine the excellent sportsbook info with a winning attitude towards sports betting.

      Keep the 50.

I would have never thought that sbr is such a strong company.

But perhaps betcris or 5dimes also pay $ 50

                SBRJohn,

My suggestion to the Beat the Prick contest next season would be to make it an option if you want to deposit into a book with your winnings if that is possible. Don't make it a requirement but make it an option to certain books. I would make the season end have more prizes for us also. I think the top 50 should win something instead of the top 20.

I agree with Doc that it needs totals when there is NFL games only when the college season is on a break.

I think it has been very successful and these improvements will make it even better.
