#37I would say that is a good idea...Originally posted by curiousIf you really can pick > 60% winners, I'm not saying you can't, and MM is the problem, why don't you partner with someone who has good MM skills? A win ratio > 60% is a license to print money.
I never thought of that...

I think but am not sure that he went 3 wins 2 losses on an occasion...Originally posted by curiousI have never seen a winning post of yours on here. Never seen a losing post either, I'm pretty sure you don't post picks.

#40Shams,
You're making yourself look like an idiot.
This whole argument is pointless, because you'd have to have a preternatural gift at picking winner while still being an idiot of the highest order to have a long term record >60%.
But you're not going to understand that. So whatev.Comment -

#48Curious,
I'm simply pointing out that you have absolutely no clue about sports betting, among other things, and should read more and talk less. Almost everything that comes out of your mouth is embarrassing.
Shams,
Like Thremp said, if you are really hitting over 60% you are a complete idiot and are not betting anywhere near enough games.Comment -

#57Why would I do that? I'm more than comfortable with my bankroll growth and my ROI and no dick waving contest on a forum is going to make me do something that is clearly -ev for me. In the past I have posted some picks on a minor sport as a gift to a forum that has taught me a lot, but it's much more satisfying for me to teach someone theory than to just give them picks. Teach a man to fish rather than just giving him fish, or however the proverb goes.Comment -

#58It doesn't matter if he wins, what he picks or if he even wins. This is a purely theoretical arguments and his theory is sound. If you are winning 60% of your ATS picks, you likely can bet the lower confidence ones at a smaller unit size for a very significant profit. Pretty simple idea.Originally posted by curiousCan you please give us links to picks of yours which show that you are a +ev bettor?Comment -

#59The mother****er comes in here running his mouth at me and one of my friends, saying that we are negative ev players. Yet, he knows nothing about us. Since he is obviously so great at sportsbetting (according to him), I just wanted to see his picks which show that he is so great. In other words, put up or shut up.Originally posted by ThrempIt doesn't matter if he wins, what he picks or if he even wins. This is a purely theoretical arguments and his theory is sound. #62One only has to look at your posts and the idiotic parlays and donk teasers you've posted to realize that the vast majority of your sports bets are -EV. Anyway, as Thremp said, whether or not I am a winning bettor is not what is irrelevant here. The theory is what matters. If you'd like to argue that hitting over 60% on mainstream US sports is possible while attempting to make as much money as possible, I'd love to hear it.Comment -

#64Some of these guys are like vultures who are quick to pick at somebody's math when they misspeak about something, but are otherwise absent from the handicapping front.
You're not required to post plays, but you must have some social skills and understand these arguments will recur if you don't join the ranks and socialize with the rest of us on actual game discussion or at least share some plays too.
It creates the impression that you are just here to expose the chinks in peoples armor, and that's not going to be received well even if you have a mathematical leg to stand on. People don't like being called out for sharing their opinions on handicapping or their beliefs by people who never put their own necks out there...Comment -

#66What are you talking about? I post two types of teasers, teasing through the 3 and 7 in NFL which is a known positive expectation play, and teasing NCAAB home teams who are playing teams that are winless on the road, another known positive expectation play. I do post miracle parlays sometimes, I have hit some of them, but they are just for fun.Originally posted by donjuanOne only has to look at your posts and the idiotic parlays and donk teasers you've posted to realize that the vast majority of your sports bets are -EV. Now, if you want to talk about my MLB posts, they have a verifiable high win %, my NCAAB posts have a verifiable high win %, and my big dog NCAAF picks have a verifiable high win %.
Next time you start talking shit to someone, maybe you should know what the **** you are talking about.Comment -
