Is anyone here a good enough musician to get a gig in Vegas?Piano?

I know two guys that are compulsive gamblers where one is an accomplished piano player and the other an accomplished guitar and steel guitar player. I always tell the guys that they can go to Vegas and make good livings at it.Is there anyone here that could make a living as a musician in Vegas?What a great deal,playing piano like play it again Sam on Casa Blanca somewhere with a giant brandy snifter full of Tips.Anyone seen the piano players at the Golden Gait downtown?

Teach your kid to play the piano and he will never have to worry about having something to fall back on in tough times.Beats getting the dog crap beaten out of you playing football in school and not moving on to the next level where you have broken bones.

Good post BC! Yeah you've pretty much have to teach your kids on your own or pay for lessons in just about any artistic endeavor. Public schools systems have cut and in some cases completely done away with anything to do with arts and drama in the classrooms, and our kids are suffering for it. The schools are so hell bent on prepping kids for bullshit tests anymore, it's no wonder kids are so frigg'in board with the curriculum in place today. They've also canceled PE and even recess just to keep kids locked down in a classroom, no wonder more school age children are overweight and in some cases obese. If you don't develop the left side of the brain, the so call "artistic" side, our kids simple go stagnant and can't use an artistic approach to problem solving. This is exactly the reason the Japanese kick our asses in just about every category dealing with artistic development. Oh and by the way, my dad taught me how to play piano and I later learned guitar by myself. I can pretty much get a gig anytime I want. I work for myself and no fuk'in boss or time clock punching for me.
